When you have had smoke or fire damage to your home, Restoration Nation is here to help you with any restoration services you might need after the damage. We know how devastating it can be to see your beloved home have smoke and fire damage.
Our main goal is to make sure your home or business building is completely restored and as good as new after there has been a fire.
We have a team of trained professionals that can come into your space and assess how bad the damage is. We will then handle all the steps of the fire damage restoration and the fire cleanup that is needed.
We can also do water restoration as there is usually water damage following a fire because of the action taken by firefighters and other rescue teams to try and put out the fire as soon as possible.
After there has been adequate restoration from the fire and water, we can then begin the process of soot removal. Soot can stay inside the walls and carpets so these will need to be cleaned very well. Smoke damage cleanup is also part of our services and is crucial for ensuring that all the smoke odor is removed from the home and your belongings.
Even though fires are very dangerous and can cause a number of issues, the smoke and soot that lingers behind can also be extremely toxic and bad for your health. It’s also important to remember that even if smoke is contained to only one room of a home or office, the smoke can travel to all areas of the home and make the entire building smell like smoke and soot.
Not only do we aim to ensure your home and everything in it is restored to the way it was before the fire, but we also want to ensure that the smell of smoke is completely out of the home.
This is why we have trained professionals on our team that can deodorize, clean, and completely restore your home or office.
Before calling our team to come and begin the process of fire damage restoration, it’s important to know the process and steps we take so that you can be involved and aware of what is going on.
The first step is to give us a call and give us the directions to the building or place that has fire damage. We have 24/7 emergency services and have a response time of 30 minutes, so feel free to call us any time of the day.
Once we receive your call, we will dispatch someone to your location and they can help you.
Once we get to your property, we have to begin the inspection process. We will first start in the room where the damage started and then look at the surrounding areas of the home to see if they also have damage from fire, soot, or smoke.
The inspection is one of the most important parts of the process because we need to ensure that we make a proper plan of action to restore the home.
The plan of action will have to be made with several other parties including your insurance company, a fire marshal, and even an investigator depending on how the fire started.
We will also inspect your belongings and see which ones might be able to be restored and which ones will have to be discarded.
Fire damage usually takes place in all parts of the home including the roof, the walls, and the windows. If there are any missing windows in the home, we will board them up. We will also tarp areas of the home that have had extensive damage such as on the roof.
Tarping and boarding up are important because they protect the home from further damage. We can also begin structural repairs during this step and remove any debris from in and around the home.
If there is water damage, water restoration will begin immediately. We have special suction devices and pumps that can remove water from the home including the floors and walls. We will also use dehumidifiers to ensure the air in the home is clean and without too much moisture.
Now that the home is dry, we can begin removing the smoke and soot. We have special equipment that makes this process easier including removing soot and smoke from hard to reach places like the walls and ceilings.
Now we will take items that can be restored to be cleaned and sanitized. Items that need to be discarded will be properly handled and taken off the property. We will ensure you have a complete list of items that are taken and tell you when you expect the restored items to be back.
Once the items are out of the home, we will begin cleaning and sanitizing every surface of the home.
The last step is doing repairs and construction where needed. Our goal is to make sure the home looks better than it did before the fire. Sometimes only minor repairs are needed and other times, we might have to rebuild part of the home completely.
If you are in the Dallas or Fort Worth areas and have fire damage, please give us a call any time of the day at 682-472-1173. We also work in other areas of Texas including Plano, Addison, and Grand Prairie.
We are experts in repairs and construction so you can be sure your home will look good as new when we have completed our work on it.
